11/02/2007 Raymond Recognized For Leadership in Technical Publications The Raymond Corporation's Technical Publications group received the Rare Bird award from the Center for Information-Development Management (CIDM) for its new XML process development initiative. Raymond is the first materials handling equipment provider to convert its technical publications, including parts and maintenance manuals, into XML/DITA format so they can be easily repurposed and viewed on a PDA or computer. XML, or Extensible Markup Language, is a language that allows technical information to be easily shared.
